Blues Midfielder post-Coventry

Cole Skuse gave an honest assessment of Town's defeat to Coventry and the current situation at Portman Road.

Matt Godden struck for the visitors in the 40th minute to condemn Blues to a fourth consecutive loss, and a third successive 1-0 defeat at home.

"I think the fans could see today that these poor results are not through a lack of trying," Skusey said.

"It was a spirited performance but their one shot has ended up in a goal. It's very disheartening.

"To be honest it's a kick in the teeth. We were the better side but they've won the game. We have nothing to show for it again.

"I appreciate I've been asked to do the post-match interview but I'm struggling for words. It's a deflating day.

"I'd love to come out and be as positive as I can but I can't. We just have to try and get something going and finish the season as strongly as we can and see where it takes us."
