Young Blue ready for battle with Coventry tomorrow
Tyreece Simpson is hoping to play his part as Town aim to turn their fortunes around when Coventry City visit Portman Road tomorrow.
The young Blues forward put pen to paper on his first professional contract on Monday, and has made two substitue appearances for Paul Lambert's side in the last week against Blackpool and Fleetwood respectively.
"It was a disappointing result for us on Tuesday against Fleetwood but on a personal note I was very pleased to get some more game time," he told iFollow Ipswich.
"I'm very grateful for the opportunity and the fact that the manager has shown faith in me to try and help the team where I can.
"My aim is to stay grounded and keep working hard, I want to play my part.
"Coventry are a team in form and it will be a real battle but we will be up for it."
