On the road then home-schooling for Town coach

Matt Gill is playing his part in raising money for charity by looking to run 200km this month.

Town’s first-team coach has ‘volunteered’ to help Blues’ goalkeeping coach Jimmy Walker raise £10,000 for NHS Charities Together and the UN Foundation.

“I know Jimmy and the Football DNA guys are looking to reach £10,000 so having spoken to Jimmy, I said I’d get involved with them,” Matt told the Club website.

“I’m out first thing in the morning - before helping with home-schooling the kids - and have done 38km so far in five days. Is it getting any easier? Definitely not!

“It’s all for a good cause though and I’ll get there. I’ve got too or Jimmy will be on my case!”
