"It's a situation that we will look at again when the football world becomes a bit clearer”
Town will not be taking up the year option on Will Keane, Jordan Roberts and Danny Rowe and all three will be out of contract at the end of June but the door has been left open over possible deals in the future.
Will joined the Club in the summer of 2019 having spent the second half of last season on loan from Hull. He has clocked up 41 appearances in a Town shirt, scoring nine goals.
Danny, who is recovering from a knee injury, has played 29 times for Blues since joining the Club in January 2017 and has had two loan spells at Lincoln in that time while Jordan has made 17 appearances since arriving from Crawley in 2018.
The 26-year-old striker has just returned from Gillingham where he was on loan from January.
“With so much uncertainty over the game and the financial situation, it’s not feasible for the Club to take up the options on the players at the moment,” Town’s general manager football operations, Lee O’Neill, told the Club website.
“The door is certainly not closed though and it’s a situation that we will look at again when the football world becomes a bit clearer.”
