Shot-stopper on Crawley test and younger lads getting a slice of the action
Dai Cornell believes tomorrow night's meeting with Crawley in the Papa John's Trophy presents a good opportunity for some Town players to get minutes under their belt.
Blues head to the The People's Pension Stadium on the back of one win and one defeat in the competition so far, with Crawley having lost both of their group stage matches to date.
The sides will likely make changes from their weekend FA Cup ties - both Town and Crawley having been involved in 120-minute affairs respectively.
"I'm not sure what to expect because they had a mad game at the weekend as well," the Town 'keeper told iFollow Ipswich.
"It's another test for us but it's an opportunity as well. It's an oppportunity to progress to the next stage of the competition - hopefully we can get the job done.
"It doesn't matter what game you're playing, you always want to win. It's no different tomorrow and the lads that get minutes will want to get through.
"It's another chance for some players to get game time and we'll be looking to go there and put in a good performance."
