Lengthy list of absentees for Addicks visit

Paul Lambert has provided an injury update ahead of Town's clash with Charlton Athletic at Portman Road tomorrow.

Freddie Sears went off early against Hull on Tuesday, with Teddy Bishop and Jon Nolan both limping off in the win over Shrewsbury last weekend.

"Something to be encouraged about is Kane [Vincent-Young]," Paul told iFollow Ipswich.

"He's doing really really and hopefully isn't too far away.

"Freddie's is a hamstring issue. I will speak to the medical staff about how long he's likely to be out for - he only had his scan yesterday.

"Cole and Flynn are making progress but are obviously a little way off.

"Gwion [Edwards] and James [Wilson] are getting on alright but tomorrow's match will be too soon for them.

"Teddy is likely to be out for at least a few weeks with the heel problem."
