"We have three games in that week so we have to make sure everybody is ok for that"
Paul Lambert hopes that Town's upcoming free weekend and midweek will allow the squad to recover ahead of the continued busy League One schedule.
With the campaign condensed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, three games a week has become the norm throughout the Football League.
Following Tuesday night's Papa John's Trophy exit away at Crawley, Town now have a 10-day break without a game ahead of hosting Shrewsbury on Saturday, 21 November - the first of three home games in that week.
Hull then visit Portman Road on 24 November and Charlton on 28 November - all three games will be available to watch live on iFollow Ipswich.
"We have a lot of knocks with the first-team guys," Paul told iFollow Ipswich. "We have so many people injured and carrying things.
"Hopefully that will give us time to recover. We had 120 minutes at the weekend and a lot of niggly knocks there.
"We have three games in that week so we have to make sure everybody is ok for that."
Flynn Downes, Cole Skuse and Kane Vincent-Young all remain sidelined while Town were boosted by the return of James Norwood in last weekend's FA Cup tie against Portsmouth.
