Blues to pay respects on Saturday

As we enter this period of Remembrance, the Club will be paying its respects to those that have made the ultimate sacrifice in Armed conflict.

The Club will hold a minute's silence before kick-off on Saturday as Blues take on Portsmouth in the first round of the FA Cup. A bugler from the East of England Co-op brass band will be present to play the Last Post.

Town's players will proudly wear shirts emblazoned with the Poppy. All match-worn and match-prepared shirts will be signed and auctioned off with all proceeds going to the Royal British Legion. The Club will communicate with fans when these go on sale.

The players of both sides will also be wearing black armbands as a mark of respect to those servicemen and women who paid the ultimate price for their country.

Blues branded 2020 Poppy lapel pins are now on sale for a donation of £4.99 and are likely to sell out quickly - we apologise for any disappointment caused for fans unable to purchase their pin badge this year. They will only be available to purchase through the Royal British Legion's Poppy shop website.
