"We've started the season really well and I'm looking forward to seeing what's in store"
Keanan Bennetts says he is looking to kick on after what he considers to be a good start to life with Town.
The winger, who arrived at the Club on loan from Borussia Monchengladbach earlier this month, has been training with the first-team squad for just over a week, and made his debut in the 4-1 win against Blackpool last weekend.
"It's been an enjoyable week or so," Keanan told iFollow Ipswich.
"The coaches have been very helpful. They've supported me since I arrived.
"There's a great group of lads here as well. It's been a lot of hard work but it's been good and I'm looking forward to the next game and the my first game at Portman Road, which will hopefully be tomorrow."
Speaking of his debut in Lancashire last Saturday, Keanan added that it was important for him to get some minutes under his belt quickly after completing the move.
"It was really good to get a taste of the action," he said.
"It was helpful to get some playing time quickly as well. The lads were so good in the first half so we knew they would come out firing in the second half.
"I had to help out defensively, but that's important and good for me. When you're called upon you have to do your job and then look to counter on them in a game like that.
"We've started the season really well and I'm looking forward to seeing what's in store. We're very positive and we must keep working hard. I want to kick on personally and with the team."
