Winger on emphatic victory in Lancashire

Gwion Edwards was impressed with how clinical Town were in front of goal today.

The Welshman notched two at Bloomfield Road in a 4-1 win for Town over Blackpool, taking his tally to four in the league this season.

Luke Chambers and Teddy Bishop were also on target for Blues - who scored their four goals from nine shots.

"Everyone did well today," Gwion told iFollow Ipswich.

"All over the pitch we were strong. We kept the ball, we were patient and we were clinical.

"It's important to take your chances and we showed that today - I've put two away and the goals from Bish and Chambo were fantastic. Taking your chances makes things so much easier.

"A win like this on the road fills you with confidence as well. We're growing in confidence so we need to keep improving.

"No one will get carried away but you need to celebrate these wins. We'll enjoy the moment and the weekend and come Monday get back to work and focus on the next one."
