"I could never have imagined not playing football for that long, so I was delighted when we returned"
Tomas Holy says there is one day that sticks out for him in 2020.
That day is 22 July, when Town finally returned to training after almost five months off due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Speaking in an interview for Saturday's matchday programme against Crewe Alexandra, the Blues shot-stopper tells us the joy he felt to have a ball back at his feet - or in his hands!
"I'm just so happy to be playing football again," the Czech 'keeper said.
"I could never have imagined not playing football for that long, so I was delighted when we returned and now we are back playing matches - I love it.
"Football is a huge part of my life so that first day back was probably my favourite day of the year.
"I do miss the fans, though. I have said before how much I love the atmosphere in the English game and obviously one of my favourite grounds is Portman Road.
"People belong in the stands and without them it feels very strange, so I can't wait to have them back."
Tomas talks about Town's start to the campaign and more in Saturday's matchday programme, which also features Teddy Bishop taking on the 'Best Of' challenge and an interview with Kieron Dyer, who recently took over as coach of Blues' U23s side.
