Paul takes precautionary measure after showing symptoms
Paul Lambert will miss tonight’s game against Gillingham as he awaits the result of a Covid-19 test.
The Town boss reported symptoms this morning and was immediately tested, with the outcome not expected until later this evening.
“Paul is following the guidelines and it's a precautionary measure until the result of his test comes through,” Town’s general manager of football operations, Lee O’Neill, told the Club website.
Blues’ first-team coach, Matt Gill, is in self-isolation and is expected to be absent for at least 10 days after he tested positive for Covid at the weekend. He was not at the Lincoln game on Saturday.
“Matt showed symptoms Saturday morning and was immediately sent home,” added Lee.
Both Paul and Matt will be watching the action from Portman Road on the Club’s ifollow service.
