GWION ON ROCHDALE VISIT

25 September 2020

“I’m sure the fans will be getting behind us from home and hopefully we can do the business for them on the pitch”

Gwion Edwards has said that Rochdale will be a tricky opponent for Town tomorrow as Blues look to maintain their 100 per cent record in the League.

Town will be looking to follow up back-to-back victories in the League over Wigan and Bristol Rovers when Brian Barry-Murphy’s side visit Portman Road.

“It will be tricky against Rochdale,” Gwion told iFollow Ipswich. “They try and play a bit, but we’re going into it in a confident mood.

“It’s been a good start for us. The work we’ve done through pre-season has benefitted us.

“If we keep doing what we’re doing, then hopefully we will come away with the three points.

“We’re at home - albeit without the fans, which is disappointing - but I’m sure they’ll be getting behind us from home and hopefully we can do the business on the pitch for them.”
