Two months on the sidelines for Irish frontman

Paul Lambert has revealed that Aaron Drinan could be out for two months with a thigh injury.

The Town forward departed at half-time against Wigan last weekend, and now looks set to be out of action until mid November.

Aaron only made his debut for the Club earlier this month against Bristol Rovers, but was involved in every competitive game up until the interval against The Latics at Portman Road last weekend.

"It's a real shame for Aaron," Paul said.

"He's done brilliantly since he came in, and this is a blow for him."

"He'll be out for a couple of months. That's football and sometimes you get unlucky.

"We have to just get on with it, and hopefully he's back sooner rather than later.

"Nobody thought we'd be talking about Aaron at this stage of the season but he was terrific in training so I thought 'I'll give you a chance' and he took it. He was playing well but these things can happen and we wish him a speedy recovery."
