"The dominance of the game was very good"

Paul Lambert said that there is a 'good feeling' amongst the team after Town secured a 2-0 victory at Bristol Rovers.

Blues were made to wait for the reward in their first away outing of 2020/21 before an own goal and a well-taken strike from Jon Nolan secured the three points at the Memorial Stadium.

"We were the better team," Paul told iFollow Ipswich. "We started the game really well and we looked comfortable.

"The dominance of the game was very good. In the second half we forced the issue a lot more. There were a load of chances in the last 20 minutes.

"We’ve had a lot of games in a short space of time so it’s a big credit to the team. There’s a lot of confidence and good feeling amongst the team.

"The subs that came on were excellent as well and helped the guys and the three coming off also made a big contribution."
