BID REJECTED FOR KAYDEN

11 September 2020

"I spoke to Kayden the other day and he was really good. No issues at all. He’s got a little injury at the minute but he was really professional about it"

Paul Lambert has confirmed that Town have rejected a bid from Bournemouth for Kayden Jackson.

The Blues boss revealed that an offer was tabled by the Cherries but it wasn’t near Club owner, Marcus Evans’ valuation of the Town forward.

“I found out after the game on Tuesday [against Arsenal U21s] that Bournemouth put a bid in for Kayden,” Paul said.

“I don’t think it was up to Marcus’ valuation. How that might transpire, I don’t know, that’s up to Bournemouth and what they want to do.

“I spoke to Kayden the other day and he was really good. No issues at all. He’s got a little injury at the minute but he was really professional about it.”
