New chairman in attendance for MK Dons clash
Mike O'Leary, the new chairman of Town, will attend his first game at Portman Road since assuming the role when he is present for the visit of MK Dons on Saturday.
Blues host The Dons looking to close the gap on the top six, with kick-off tomorrow at 3pm.
Mike, who took over as chairman of Town following the sale of the Club from the ME Group to Gamechanger 20 Ltd on Wednesday, said he is looking forward to the opportunity with Blues.
"This is a fabulous club with a great heritage," he told iFollow Ipswich.
"I remember from my youth how successful this club was, and when the opportunity came along to invest, it was one we really wanted to take advantage of.
"It's been a long process, about 14 months from start to finish, but we're excited.
"During that process we've got to know what is here, and we're aware of what opportunities could be available.
"I'm looking forward to being at Portman Road."
