PAUL ON FINAL STRETCH

4 April 2021

"We needed the win on Friday and we got it, so we want to keep it going at Rochdale"

Paul Cook said Town just need to "keep fighting" ahead of the final nine games this season.

Blues are in the mix for the play-offs with a trip to Rochdale up next on Easter Monday.

A win in Greater Manchester could lift Paul's side into the top six if results elsewhere go their way.

"There is an amount of points that I think we need from the final nine games - we don't have to get them all in one week," The Town boss said.

"Last week we had the disappointment of not winning a game and people were thinking we couldn't make the play-offs. But this weekend, after a win, we'll be feeling more optimistic looking at the League table.

"We needed the win on Friday and we got it, so we want to keep it going at Rochdale.

"There's still a long way to go and we just have to keep fighting."
