Town boss on victory over The Gas
Paul Cook said Town "really needed" today's win.
An own goal in the first minute and an 11th-minute strike from Alan Judge saw Blues run out 2-1 winners over Bristol Rovers at Portman Road.
Town sit ninth in the League One table, two points outside the top six, with a trip to bottom-of-the-table Rochdale up next on Easter Monday.
"We needed it for the whole Club" Paul told iFollow Ipswich.
"It helps with morale and belief. We need to find a way to win games and that's the challenge for the next nine games. It might not be pretty but we've got a chance.
"Today's win could go a long way into transmitting that home form into away form and that's important because we have another tough game on Monday.
"Massive praise to the players because today was about the result, and we got it."
