"It should be a really exciting game with two teams intent on playing attacking football"
Paul Cook is expecting a thriller tomorrow when Blues take on MK Dons at Portman Road.
The visitors will be led by former Town Academy coach, Liam Manning, with two more familiar faces in their dug-out in ex Blues youth player Chris Hogg, who also coached at Portman Road and David Wright, who made 120 League appearances for the Club in his three year stay.
“Liam got a great result in midweek with MK Dons beating Charlton, who are a good team,” Paul told iFollow Ipswich.
“They have a good style of play about them and like all teams in this league, are well drilled. It will be a tough test.
“They have goals about them as well so it should be a really exciting game with two teams intent on playing attacking football.
“There will be a big crowd in again and we want them to come here and enjoy the game and leave the stadium happy and we will be giving it everything to try and make that happen.”
A crowd of around 20,000 is expected at Portman Road. Tickets are available on the day for home fans but Covid protocols are in place so supporters are advised to arrive early.
