Proof of full vaccination or negative lateral flow test required
Town are in Carabao Cup action at Portman Road tonight with Newport County the visitors [kick-off 7.45pm].
Supporters attending tonight are required to show proof of full Covid-19 vaccination or a negative lateral flow test within 48 hours of kick-off.
The Club have produced the below guide which has EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ahead of visiting Portman Road tonight...
ARRIVAL TIME TO PORTMAN ROAD
Supporters are strongly advised to arrive at Portman Road in plenty of time, due to the Covid-19 entry requirements at the turnstiles.
The game is ALL TICKET, meaning you cannot purchase a ticket on the turnstiles.
If you're a season ticket holder, you will need to buy a ticket. Your season ticket is only valid for home League games.
Online ticket sales are running until 5pm this evening, with tickets available in Planet Blue until 5pm.
You will have a recommended entry time on your match ticket, please try and stick to this time as this will help with the flow of supporters. It is only a guide though and you will not be denied entry if you miss your time slot.
Whoever purchases a ticket for the game under their name - whether season ticket or match ticket - must take full responsibility for providing Test and Trace information if needed. This applies even if they pass their ticket onto someone else to use or make multiple ticket purchases.
The ticket office phone lines (03330 05 05 03) are open from 10am until 5pm today. They’re also contactable on email via email@example.com.
The home ticket office on Portman Road and away ticket office on Constantine Road will be open from 5.30pm for any ticketing enquiries. The disabled entrance on Constantine Road will open from 5.30pm.
Areas open for tonight's match are lower Sir Bobby Robson Stand and Sir Alf Ramsey Stand and all of the West Stand.
ENTERING THE STADIUM
Any person aged 11 or over will either be required to provide proof of a NHS negative lateral flow test (no longer than 48 hours prior to the event) or proof of full vaccination (with the second dose administered at least 14 days before the relevant match). The Club will not accept actual lateral flow test sticks as proof.
The Club will also accept vaccine cards or a photo of the card as proof of double vaccination. You may be asked to provide photographic ID (passport, driving license) as well. A bank card will be accepted as proof of ID if no photo ID available.
Please note that children under the age of 13 years will not need ID but their accompanying parent or guardian will have to validate their details.
The Club have arranged for one mobile testing unit to be in place at Alderman Park. Please be advised that test results can take around 30 minutes to be processed.
Please avoid bringing large bags into the stadium and only do so if absolutely necessary. This will help avoid slowing down the stadium entry process.
Tickets can be scanned from your smartphone at the following turnstiles:
West Stand: 42, 43, 44 & 45
Sir Bobby Robson: 30, 31, 33, 34 & 35
Sir Alf Ramsey: 3, 4, 5 & 6
Supporters must not attend if they are suffering from Covid-19 symptoms, are feeling unwell, have been asked to self isolate, or if they have been in close contact recently with anyone experiencing symptoms or who has tested positive. In the event you develop Covid-19 symptoms whilst at the stadium, please notify the nearest member of Club staff immediately.
Face coverings are mandatory in indoor areas such as the concourses and toilets etc. Whilst not mandatory within the stadium bowl, spectators are strongly encouraged to wear face coverings in all outdoor spectator settings, including seats. We ask all those attending to show respect to ITFC staff and fellow supporters in regard to this matter.
Maintain good hand hygiene at all times around the stadium. Use the sanitiser dispensers provided and avoid touching your face, or handles and railings whenever possible.
When moving past others, to and from your seat, please avoid face to face contact and follow stewards’ instruction
IS THE GAME ON iFOLLOW?
No. Although all midweek LEAGUE fixtures are available on iFollow, tonight's Carabao Cup clash isn't. A reminder of what games are available on iFollow throughout the season can be viewed here.
FANZONE & CONCOURSE
The FanZone will be open as normal from 6pm until kick-off.
Entrance is through Gate 1A with a valid match ticket and proof of full vaccination/negative lateral flow result. You will also be checked again before reaching the turnstiles on entry into the stadium.
Supporters are unable to enter the FanZone if they have already gone through a turnstile so if you want to go to the FanZone, do so first.
First Time Fans will take place at 6.30pm - if you know a young Town fan attending their first match this evening, please email firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP!
The bar will be open along with food also available.
The inflatable penalty shootout and 5-a-side football will be on site this evening.
The Planet Blue retail unit will also be open.
The concourse areas will be open for food and drink before the match and at full-time.
Please wear a face covering in the concourse areas unless eating or drinking.
Open until kick-off and open for 30 minutes after the full-time whistle.
Face coverings to be worn inside whilst shopping and there will be a limit on the number of supporters in the shop at once.
Planet Blue retail unit in FanZone will be open.
There will be no usual autograph hunting area before the match or at full-time.
Supporters are kindly asked not to approach any of the Club’s or visiting club’s players or coaching staff at any time, as players and staff will not be able to sign autographs or pose for photographs.
AROUND PORTMAN ROAD
Flower beds have been installed at Princes Street end of Portman Road, meaning that supporters parking in the NCP Portman Road car park will need to either turn right towards Handford Road or go straight over down Sir Alf Ramsey Way.
