PAUL ON PACKING A PUNCH

27 August 2021

"We know we have to get up to speed and stop making mistakes but this team has a quality that we must take forward"

Paul Cook said that Town must maintain the ability to score good goals whilst seeking to cut out mistakes.

The Blues have found the back of the net in every League game so far this season, but do head into Saturday’s clash with AFC Wimbledon on the hunt for a first victory of the campaign.

"We know we have to get up to speed and stop making mistakes," the Town boss said.

"But this team has a quality that we must take forward, and that’s an ability to score good goals.

"I think everyone has seen that from the games already.

"When you carry that punch as a fighter, or a football club, people have to recognise it.

"We must work to develop the other aspects to our game and that will result in us becoming a stronger team."
