"I think it’s going to be a busy couple of days for us. I think that over the weekend there will be more signings."
Paul Cook says that Town could have as many as three new additions to the squad by the start of next week.
The Blues have already made 10 new signings this summer with both the first-team manager and CEO, Mark Ashton, vocal with their hopes to bring further players into the Club.
Town host Morecambe at Portman Road tomorrow afternoon, with over 20,000 supporters set to be in attendance for the 2021/22 season curtain-raiser.
Paul expects a similarly busy weekend off the pitch at the Club.
He said: "We're still light in a few areas and to get through a long campaign, you need squad depth.
"I think it’s going to be a busy couple of days for us as a club. I think that over the weekend there will be more signings.
"By the time Monday comes, hopefully we’ll have one, two or possibly three new players in the building.
"Contrary to what people believe - that we’re this big spending club that is throwing money at everything - we’re probably one of the only clubs in the off-season that has sold players. We’ve reinvested that into the team. We’ve been doing our business as well as we can."
