BOSS ON TRANSFER WINDOW

17 August 2021

"We’re delighted with the squad we’ve got now and if that’s what we go with, then I’m sure we’ll all be happy"

Paul Cook says that Town are close to the end of their incoming transfer business this summer.

In what has been a period of change at the Club, 16 new additions have made the move to Portman Road during this transfer window.

Cameron Burgess and Tom Carroll were the latest to sign on for the new era, penning deals on Sunday and Monday respectively.

"It’s probably close to the end now," Paul told the Club website when asked about further signings.

"You can never say never in football but the reality is, we’re delighted with the squad we’ve got now and if that’s what we go with, then I’m sure we’ll all be happy.

"Now, let’s get down to work and concentrate on winning games.

"We had great support at Burton on Saturday and we want to make our supporters happy. We’re desperate to win games for them."

Town are on the road again this evening as they travel to Cheltenham, backed by a sold out away end.
