Festive cheer spread by Town players
Town trio, Sone Aluko, Lee Evans and Joe Pigott surprised children on the Children's Ward at Ipswich Hospital on a Zoom call last week.
Sadly, due to Covid-19, the Town players are unable to conduct their usual in-person Christmas visits to hospitals and hospices around the region.
Children from the ward popped on the call to say hello and have a chat with the players about all things Ipswich Town and about their plans for the Christmas period.
The first-team have all donated a sum of money which will allow for donations and gifts to be bought for EACH, Ipswich Hospital, St Elizabeth Hospice, West Suffolk Hospital, Colchester Hospital and St Nicholas Hospice.
The Blues first-team players have also sent the above hospitals and hospices a personal Christmas video to patients and staff.
