"The lads have recovered well from Wigan and we've kept the feel-good factor at the training ground going.
John McGreal said he is taking "each game as it comes" during a busy period for Town.
The Club's interim manager will be in the dugout for his third game when the Blues face Barrow in an Emirates FA Cup second round replay tomorrow evening.
Following the clash in Cumbria, Town host Sunderland at Portman Road on Saturday afternoon - the first of the Club's #PackOutPR games, with almost 30,000 fans expected to be in attendance.
"We’ve got the game tomorrow and the boys have been prepped," John said.
"They have recovered well from Wigan and we've kept the feel-good factor at the training ground going.
"We're all taking each day and game as it comes because it's a busy period for the Club. As I said when I took over, I knew the situation and what was happening, so all we have been doing is looking to prepare us for each match.
"I never get ahead of myself and right now, the focus is obviously on Barrow. The most important game for the Club right now is the FA Cup replay tomorrow evening.
"I’m really not in the process of thinking about Sunderland at the weekend, but of course everyone is aware of the ticket sales and it should be a brilliant event for the Club."
Tomorrow's Emirates FA Cup second round replay is being shown live on ITV4 (kick-off 7.45pm).
