Duo back out on training pitch but unlikely to be involved tomorrow night

Rekeem Harper and Kyle Edwards have both returned to training after having Covid-19, Town boss Kieran McKenna has confirmed.

The pair both missed the Blues' last outing against Sunderland before Christmas, but are now back out on the grass at Playford Road having recovered from the virus.

Rekeem and Kyle worked separately to the group this morning, though, with a focus on getting back up to speed.

Kieran has suggested they are unlikely to be involved in Town's final game of the calendar year against Wycombe Wanderers tomorrow.

"We’ve had a couple of Covid cases over the last few weeks," he said.

"The good thing is, we’ve managed to contain any potential outbreak and isolate the cases. Credit to the Club on that because we have done well there.

"We have a couple of players that have recovered and one or two that are still recovering, but are doing well.

"The spirit in the group is good, and we have a group that is hungry to play and looking forward to tomorrow’s match."

Tickets for tomorrow night's home game against Wycombe are still available to purchase here.
