Vaccination cards no longer accepted

Following the announcement from the Government on Wednesday, 8 December regarding Plan B, vaccination cards can no longer be accepted as proof of full vaccination to enter Portman Road.

Throughout the season, the Club has enforced Covid-19 entry requirements, with supporters able to show their vaccination card to gain entry. However, with Plan B now protocols now passed through Government, the Club must alter our stance.

Instead, supporters must show a COVID Pass via the NHS App or a physical letter that they have obtained. 

Supporters can also show proof of a negative lateral flow test via a text or email as proof for entry. To report a negative lateral flow test, click here.

How do I get a COVID Pass?

You can download your COVID Pass via the NHS app. Click here for guidance.

If you are going to show your COVID Pass via a smartphone, please save it 'offline' by downloading it to your Apply Pay or Google Wallet. This will avoid any connectivity problems at the ground.

If you do not have a smartphone, you can call 119 and request a hard copy of your vaccination status which will get posted to you.

Alternatively, rather than calling 119, you can request your letter online, here.

What is an acceptable COVID Pass?

Acceptable documentations are as follows:

  • COVID Pass via the NHS app
  • COVID Pass saved to the Apple/Google wallet
  • COVID Pass letter for people that are double vaccinated. Click here to find out how to.
  • A PDF of the COVID Pass
  • An NHS negative lateral flow test via text or email (dated within 48 hours of the fixture.)

There will be a lateral flow testing centre located in Alderman Park which will have limited testing kits, where stewards will be on hand to assist.
