Town midfielder following tonight’s meeting with Posh
Andre Dozzell said fine margins determined Town’s defeat to Peterborough this evening.
Blues took the lead at Weston Homes Stadium after a sixth-minute strike from James Norwood, but a Jonson Clarke-Harris header and Joe Ward free-kick saw the hosts come out on top.
"We started well and got the early goal," the midfielder said.
"But little decisions we’re making are setting us back at the moment.
"We had periods in the second half where we were on top and we have to capitalise on those. It’s a case of fine margins in this league.
"It’s one of the worst pitches I’ve ever played on, but that’s no excuse as they played on the same one we did - obviously it wasn’t going to be pretty in those conditions.
"It was frustrating not to build on a really good win over Blackpool at the weekend but we have to focus on the next game now.
'We’re still confident."
