"It was a grind and a battle in the middle of the pitch but we showed quality to create chances"
Andre Dozzell described tonight's victory over Hull as a "grind" but thought Town showed quality when it mattered.
Blues took the spoils from KCOM Stadium thanks to James Norwood's effort in the first half, with Myles Kenlock picking the striker out with a fine cross-field ball.
"It was a good win and a much-needed three points," the Town midfielder told iFollow Ipswich.
"We built on the last game, because we should have beaten Oxford at the weekend really.
"I think we were organised from the start and everyone in the team did their job today - we put a real shift in.
"It was a grind and a battle in the middle of the pitch as well, but we showed quality to create chances and then Nors took his.
"The ball from Kenny was great. It was a nice ball in behind and then Nors did his job and finished it well.
"It was a good win but we know Doncaster at the weekend will be tough so we have to perform."
