Early team news ahead of tomorrow afternoon's meeting
Paul Lambert says Luke Thomas will be assessed ahead of tomorrow's meeting with Doncaster Rovers at Portman Road.
The winger last featured for Town against Northampton earlier this month, but could be involved on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues boss also gave an update on Cole Skuse and Tristan Nydam, with the latter playing his first game in 581 days when he turned out for Town U23s on Tuesday.
"We’ll see how Luke is this morning, see how he’s feeling, see how he’s doing," Paul said.
"There are one or two little knocks from the other night. Again, we’ll just see how everybody is.
"Gwion returned against Hull and was feeling fine over the next couple of days, but again we'll just check on him this morning.
"It was excellent to see Tristan get some game time earlier in the week, though. I think it was important for him to just get back out there and play football again.
"As I said before, there’s never any pressure to rush back or anything like that, it was a really nasty injury for him."
Cole has also missed the entirety of the campaign for Town, but returned to training with the group this week.
"We had Cole back with us yesterday which was good," Paul added.
"It’s been a long time, six months now. It’s good to see him back out training again on the grass.
"He’ll still need a little bit of time to come back fully fit, but it's just a matter of building him up."
