"It's been very frustrating because I was flying before I got injured"
Teddy Bishop is aiming to recapture his early-season form with Town.
The midfielder impressed for Blues before picking up an ankle injury against Shrewsbury in November, which subsequently kept him out of action until January.
He returned in the 1-0 victory over Burton last month, and, having missed one more game through suspension earlier this month, the 24-year-old is now looking to pick up where he left off pre-injury.
"It's been very frustrating because I was flying before I got injured," Teddy told iFollow Ipswich.
"To be honest I was probably playing the best football that I have done in an Ipswich shirt.
"The tackle against Shrewsbury was a difficult one and I did my ankle ligaments. I got trod on and that can happen to anyone - it's good that it wasn't from a previous injury or anything like that.
"I feel good, though, and I've been training consistently for a while so I just want to get back in the team."
Teddy will likely be part of the matchday squad for tomorrow's meeting with Oxford at Portman Road, and he's expecting a tough game against the in-form U's.
"They're obviously in good form," he added.
"But we've analysed them and we'll set up to go for it. We know we need to be better than Tuesday and find some quality in the final third but training has gone well."
