"Hopefully the first one comes soon and I can do a good job for the team"

Troy Parrott said he is always confident of finding the net when he steps on the football pitch.

The 19-year-old striker has turned out twice for Town since arriving on loan from Spurs - against Blackpool and Peterborough respectively.

He played 70 minutes in the victory over The Seasiders, before completing the full 90 against Posh midweek when he almost scored his first goal for the Club but for a strong save in the dying stages.

"I'm always confident that I can score and I always go into games with that confidence, you have to," Troy told iFollow Ipswich.

"I had that chance at the end on Tuesday - it came at me quickly but I managed to keep it down and it was a good stop from the 'keeper.

"Hopefully the first goal comes soon and I can do a good job for the team.

"I'm looking forward to tomorrow and I know Shrewsbury have picked up a bit of form so they'll be confident, but we have to be as well."
