Blues midfielder in good shape having recovered from virus
Alan Judge considers himself 'one of the lucky ones' having only displayed mild symptoms after contracting Covid-19.
The Town midfielder tested positive for the virus before Christmas, and, following a 10-day period of self-isolation, returned to first-team training on 29 December.
"I feel okay and I'm one of the lucky ones because I only showed mild symptoms," he told iFollow Ipswich.
"The main thing is that everyone appears to have come back feeling fine. We know how bad this virus is, so it was good to see everyone return.
"It felt very good to get back out there training. Obviously we had things planned for the children over Christmas but ended up being stuck in the house. It's nice to be out now and I'm looking forward to playing some games."
By the time Town take to the field against Swindon tomorrow afternoon, it'll be 25 days since their last outing, a 2-1 victory over Burton Albion on 15 December, but Judgey thinks the group is well prepared for a test with the Robins.
"I think the lads are up to speed," the Irishman added.
"A month is a long time off but everyone appears to be in good condition and they look after themselves well.
"We all want to get back out there, so we really want the game to be on!
"Swindon are a quick and strong team with some good players. We will have to be careful that they don't catch us on the counter-attack but we will focus on our game plan."
