Club aims to support disabled fans through lockdown
The Club will be connecting with disabled supporters during this lockdown through ‘virtual coffee mornings’.
Hosted by the Club’s disability liaison officer, Lee Smith, the coffee mornings aim to support our disabled supporters who may be feeling alone as we enter another lockdown.
The virtual coffee mornings will take place on zoom every Friday before a Saturday match and will be a very relaxed and informal chat about all things Ipswich Town.
The Club has contacted disabled supporters and carers directly and have had a good response so far with many interested. If you are interested in joining the coffee mornings, please email email@example.com.
As a Club, we are determined to ensure nobody has to go through another lockdown on their own. Suffolk Mind and Samaritans have been charity partners of the Club for three years now and offer a service to anyone who feels as though they’re on their own.
