Blues waiting on Norwood, with Nsiala set to miss Crewe trip

Paul Lambert said Town will 'wait and see' if James Norwood is available for tomorrow's meeting with Crewe Alexandra

The Blues striker has missed the last two fixtures, having played the full 90 minutes in the victory over Burton Albion earlier this month.

The Town boss also gave an update on Kane Vincent-Young, who could feature in a training game next week.

"We will be speaking to James more today to see how he is. He hasn't done too much work with us this week," Paul said.

"Whether he's fit enough to start I'm not so sure. We'll have to wait and see.

"Kane is doing really well. I'm hoping he'll play in a game next week.

"Hopefully he comes through the next couple of days and a game, because it would be great to have him in the squad for the second half of the season.

"Keanan Bennetts could also feature in the game next week, and James Wilson is doing alright but needs a bit of time.

"Bringing Jon Nolan off on Tuesday was just a change, rather than him having a knock, but we can't overwork players with how many games we still have to go."

Central defender Toto Nsiala, who missed Tuesday's visit of Sunderland, will be absent for tomorrow's game with a hamstring strain.
