Last-gasp winner for young Blues
Idris El Mizouni was the man of the moment as he scored with the last kick of the game in Town U23s' 1-0 win over Millwall this afternoon.
Janoi Donacien, Myles Kenlock, Armando Dobra and Jack Lankester all featured for Kieron Dyer's side at Millwall's training ground, Calmont Road.
The young Blues are now top of the Professional Development League Two South table following the three points over The Lions.
Chances were few and far between in a tight conquest - Bert White in the Town net with very little to do during the 90 minutes.
But, just as it looked like it would end in a stalemate, El Mizouni picked the ball up 20 yards out and brilliantly found the bottom corner.
The goal, which came in the 93rd minute, proved to be the last kick of the game.
Town now occupy pole position in the table with 23 points from 12 games, and are next in action when they host Colchester United at Playford Road on Tuesday, 26 January [kick-off 1pm].
Town line-up: White, Donacien, Baggott, Smith, Kenlock, Healy (Humphreys), Lankester (Gibbs), El Mizouni, Z Brown, Simpson (Crane), Dobra.
Subs: Wright, Andoh.
