TAYLOR ON POSH TEST

22 January 2021

"We know their strengths but we've also identified potential weaknesses that we will look to get at"

Stuart Taylor says Town are well aware of the attacking threat Peterborough possess, but emphasised that Blues will look to impose their impetus on the clash at Portman Road this weekend.

Paul Lambert's side head into tomorrow's game on the back of a 1-0 win at Burton last weekend, with Posh coming from behind to beat Charlton last time out.

Just four points separate Town and Darren Ferguson's side in the League One table, Blues with a game in hand.

"It's going to be a completely different game to the one against Burton," Stuart told iFollow Ipswich.

"It wasn't pretty, we know that, but it was a hard fought win and one that we deserved last weekend.

"Peterborough are a good side and they have recruited well. They have plenty of flair and we know what we need to try and take care of.

"We know their strengths but we've also identified potential weaknesses that we will look to get at.

"We've always said we want our lads to play with a freedom. We want them to express themselves and be confident.

"It's about our game and how we approach it. It's a big one."
