"We're playing at home and it is our home, not theirs, so we need to make that clear"
Tomas Holy thinks Town need to play in an assertive manner when Peterborough visit Portman Road this weekend.
The clash with Posh is the first of a double-header at home for Blues, with Sunderland travelling to Suffolk on Tuesday in front of the Sky cameras.
"We know Peterborough are a threat, but they need to know that we will also be a threat," the goalkeeper told iFollow Ipswich.
"We're playing at home and it is our home, not theirs, so we need to make that clear.
"These games are very important. We have to play with confidence and on the front foot. I think the lads know we want to play with a bit more pressure further up the field, and perhaps be more ruthless around their penalty box.
"We should try to dictate during the game and be assertive. If we want to go up we have to take all three points because the points are equally as important to us as they could be to them.
"Being a goalkeeper I want us to keep a clean sheet and I hope I can play my part to help the team."
