Take up already above final figure for five out of last six years

Town are on target to hit the highest number of season ticket holders in six years.

Over 12,000 Blues have snapped up tickets for the 2021/22 campaign, with sales taking off again following the news from the Government that all Covid-19 driven restrictions surrounding fans attending games are set to be lifted from July 19.

Sales are up by over 33 per cent on last season and the Club have already sold more season tickets at this stage than the final figures for five of the last six campaigns.

The 2019/20 season saw Blues finish the year with 12,928 season ticket holders and even that figure looks well within reach given the take up so far.

Built on the back of Town’s progress to the Championship Play-Off semi-finals in 2015, the 2015/16 term provided the highest number of season ticket holders in the last 10 years with just over 14,000.

Town kick-off the new campaign against Morecambe at Portman Road on August 7 in what will be the first full season under the new Gamechanger 20 ownership.
