"It's given us a chance to look at structure and shape and it's been good"
Andre Dozzell says Town have made the most of not having a midweek fixture by getting out on the training pitch as much as possible.
This is the first week that Blues haven't had a Tuesday night game since early February, with Paul Cook's side next in action when they travel to Wigan on Saturday.
"We've had a productive few days with plenty of double sessions," the Town midfielder said.
"It's given us a chance to look at structure and shape and it's been good.
"I really enjoy the double sessions. It's good for us and the gaffer says 'the more you do things, the more natural they'll become'.
"We know we haven't created and scored enough this season but we've been working on things in training and the more we work, the better we'll become."
