New account created as Club aims to bring supporters closer through musical means
The Club has today launched a Spotify account with a particular focus on creating matchday playlists for supporters.
Fans will now be able to create that matchday feeling by listening to tracks chosen by the Blue Army. The first playlist will be launched ahead of Town's trip to face Wigan at DW Stadium this weekend.
The Club will be asking supporters for their song requests on Twitter, with the playlist then published on Saturday morning, giving fans enough time to listen before cheering on Town at 3pm.
A playlist will be created before every first-team fixture, home and away, with the hope of bringing supporters closer to a true matchday experience while having to watch from home.
Once supporters can attend games again, the Club hopes to continue with requests from the Blue Army that will then be played at Portman Road in the build-up to games.
