Young Blues sting Hornets in dying stages
Town U18s netted in the 86th minute to beat Watford at Playford Road on Saturday morning.
Alfie Cutbush scored a brace for Adem Atay's side, who extended their lead at the top of the Professional Development League Two South table with three points against the Hornets.
In a tight contest, it was the young Blues who eventually broke the deadlock just after the hour mark when Cutbush fired in a fine free-kick.
Watford levelled 11 minutes from time but in the final stages Cutbush restored Town's advantage with a cool penalty.
Town hold first place in the PDL2 South league table with 34 points from 16 games, and have won five of their last six matches.
