"He's the type of player that I really like and hopefully we'll get to work together soon"
Paul Cook said Jon Nolan was a player he was very much looking forward to working with when he arrived at Town.
Jon suffered a medial collateral ligament in training last week, just days after Paul took the managerial position at the Club, and will likely be out of action for a couple of months.
"It was a real blow for Jon," Paul told iFollow Ipswich.
"I had an idea of the squad before I arrived and he was a player I was really looking forward to working with.
"I've followed his career closely and seen him progress at clubs.
"He's the type of player that I really like and hopefully we'll get to work together soon."
