Town boss ready for first match in home dugout
Paul Cook wants to see an improved performance from his side when Lincoln City visit Portman Road tomorrow evening.
Town were beaten at Gillingham on Saturday in what was Paul's first game in charge, but have lost just one of their last six heading into Tuesday night's clash with The Imps.
Lincoln beat Crewe at the weekend but hadn't won in three games before their home victory over The Alex.
"The main thing I want to see is an improved performance," the Blues boss said.
"Saturday wasn't what we wanted and we need to be better.
"Lincoln deserve a lot of credit and Michael [Appleton, manager] has done a great job there. I've got a lot of respect for them and we will respect everyone we play.
"But they're coming to our stadium and we need to make Portman Road a fortress again.
"There was a little run of results before the Gillingham match but before that the results weren't at that level of consistency that we need, so that's something we want to put right."
