But Tractor Girls could apply for upward movement between divisions

The FA have confirmed that the 2020/21 season for tiers three-six of the Women's game will be curtailed with immediate effect.

Town Women will not play another league fixture this campaign.

Previously, the Tractor Girls' campaign had been paused in November following a change in Government Covid-19 restrictions.

Joe Sheehan's side sat top of Women's National League Division One South East before the decision, having won all four of their outings this term without conceding whilst netting 18 times at the other end.

The Tractor Girls, alongside other impacted clubs, will have the opportunity to apply for upward movement between divisions based on set criteria in due course.

They will, however, return to the pitch on Sunday, 4 April for an FA Cup second round tie away at Billericay Town.

Town Women, should they be victorious in Essex, will then travel to Oxford United or Cardiff City in the next round on the following weekend.

The winner of that tie will host Championship side Charlton in round four.
