Forward plays 70 minutes as Qatar frustrate Boys in Green
Town striker Troy Parrott earned his fourth Republic of Ireland cap in a 1-1 draw with Qatar this evening.
Troy, who is on loan at Blues for the season from Tottenham Hotspur, replaced Robbie Brady in the 21st minute as Stephen Kenny's Ireland were pegged back after James McClean had opened the scoring in the fourth minute.
The friendly took place in Hungary, with Debrecen the host city.
The 19-year-old will now re-join his Town teammates and could be available for selection when Paul Cook's side host Bristol Rovers at Portman Road on Friday.
