"I want to be involved and there will be competition for places with new arrivals before next season"
James Norwood said he is looking forward to next season and playing more football under Paul Cook.
The Blues striker, who will need to score at least a brace against Fleetwood tomorrow to reach his personal target of double digits for goals this season, is contracted at the Club beyond this summer and wants to be involved next term.
"There's a lot to be excited about moving forward," Nors said.
"The way the gaffer talks excites you. He wants balls into the box and chances created and that's great for a forward to hear.
"I will need to work really hard over the summer, and get this niggling hamstring injury sorted, because I want to be involved and there will be competition for places with new arrivals before next season.
"There will still be players here now that can contribute next season as well. People are still under contract and there are players that are good enough to play here.
"We might be wanting to add in some areas, but we do have good players and players that I think can flourish under this manager.
"From a personal point of view, it's a numbers game. I want to play games and score goals. It's been an on and off season for me but I'll certainly back myself to get double digits next year if I'm not able to do it this time around."
