NORS ON ROBINS VICTORY

1 May 2021

"Things came together a little bit more today and we did a lot of good things"

James Norwood is hoping Town can take some momentum into next season with some encouraging performances in their final two matches this campaign,

Blues will look to follow up today's 2-1 win over Swindon when they face Shrewsbury away on Tuesday, with Fleetwood then travelling to Portman Road on the final day.

"Things came together a little bit more today and we did a lot of good things," the Town striker said.

"Had we taken most of our chances it would have been a really good performance.

"But today shows that hopefully we are moving in the right direction long term. We have two games to try and continue that and take some momentum into next season, because this one hasn't gone how we wanted it to.

"The criticism we have received this season is not unjust - it's been a disappointing campaign for all of us.

"But yeah, if we can show what we are, or could be about, in the next two games, then I think we can go into next season with a good plan and full of confidence."
