Four to six weeks lay-off for full-back
Kane Vincent-Young will miss the final game of the season against Fleetwood on Sunday, Paul Cook has confirmed.
The full-back dislocated his shoulder following an awkward fall late on in Tuesday's away fixture at Shrewsbury.
Kane will require an operation which will see him remain out for four to six weeks however he is expected to return ahead of pre-season for the 2021/22 campaign.
"It was a massive disappointment for Kane to go over on his shoulder," Paul told the Club website. "It was in the last kicks of the game and his shoulder did pop out.
"He’s having it scanned and analysed. It could see him out for four to six weeks but he’d then return for pre-season, fit and ready to go.
"Whilst it is disappointing, he’s been a massive plus for us in the last four games and a real shining light in relation to the future."
